WHY PRENATAL YOGA?

MY SESSIONS ARE ALL ABOUT TRUSTING YOUR BODY & INTUITION. WE WILL DEVELOP STEADY PHYSICAL RESILIENCE THROUGH WORKING ON POSITIONS TO STABILISE  THE BODY, KEEPING EASE & RANGE OF MOTION HEALTHY AS THE BODY EVOLVES & SETS UP FOR LABOUR. this stability will also be beneficial in the postnatal healing stage.

THROUGH BREATHING TECHNIQUE PRACTICE WE WILL STRENGTHEN THE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM & LEARN TOOLS FOR SOOTHING THE NERVOUS SYSTEm.

YOUR BODY IS DOING A LOT OF AMAZING WORK DURING THIS TIME! WE WILL SUPPORT THIS BY TAKING TIME FOR nourishing, RESTORATIVE MOVEMENT, CHECKING IN WITH BABY & ENCOURAGING RELEASE OF TENSION.

 sessions may COVER A RANGE OF ELEMENTS USEFUL FOR PREGNANCY, FOR EXAMPLE VISUALISATIONS FOR RELAXATION TO movement for early labour & birth.
